AAR's News:
- February 2010: Migration from PLC5 to Logix PLCs now
available! Get rid of that old PLC5 and upgrade to the latest technology
from Allen-Bradley. American Amusement Rides will convert your existing
software or create new, efficient software to reduce your downtime and
maintenance costs. Migrate now before the PLC5's are no longer available. We
will also upgrade DL20 and DL40 displays to the new InView display, which is
designed to fit in the same opening in the console. They are not
electrically or programmatically the same, so a bit of modification will be
required.
- August 2009: Fireball Roller Coaster opens to the
public. After a flawless soft opening last month, the Fireball's grand
opening is even better! Happy Valley Shanghai opened with a huge barrage of
fireworks and dozens of dignitaries this week. According to the park, the
Fireball, China's first and only wood roller coaster, is by far the most
popular attraction in the park. See a review at
Theme Park Review . The ride was designed by The Gravity Group, built by
Martin & Vleminckx Rides, controls and power by American Amusement Rides
LLC, brakes by Velocity Magnetics, trains by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters,
and lift motor/chain by Costasur.
